On the 24 th of March 2005 Mr. Bivolaru requested asylum in Sweden.
On 11 April 2005 the Romanian Ministry of Justice requested the Swedish authorities to extradite Mr. Bivolaru on the basis of the existing arrest warrant. The authorities issued under great secrecy a second warrant on 15 April 2005 and a second extradition request.
The Supreme Court of Justice in Stockholm has ruled on the extradition request submitted by the Romanian authorities against Gregorian Bivolaru.

Mr. Gregorian Bivolaru lawyers were announced the final and undeniable decision of the Emigration Authority on the 2006 New Years Eve.
The political asylum request was accepted after more than two months since the High Court of Justice in Stockholm declined the extradition request submitted by the Romanian authorities, for assessing the accusations against the MISA mentor as unfounded.
The decisions of the Swedish Justice testified the case of Gregorian Bivolaru as a great forgery. The accusations against the MISA mentor have no real ground, they were only meant to destroy the greatest Yoga School in Europe.
The nine months investigation of his case in Sweden concluded that Gregorian Bivolaru is unjustly mistreated in Romania due to his beliefs. The MISA mentor will be from now on protected against the Romanian authorities’ abuses. The Swedish agreed due protection and “adopted” him. Therefore Gregorian Bivolaru will rejoice at full rights like any Swedish citizen. The decision is undeniable and cannot be challenged by the Romanian Authorities.
